Midlands Meander

So a bunch of us old ballies went for a ride on Sunday,

The plan was to leave Cross Ways in Hilton at 08h00, then head out through the Karkloof to the Craigieburn Dam area, and then hit some lekker rocky trails that I know, and then end up at Uncle Bucks Grill in Muden for lunch.

I decided to leave Hilton 15 minutes early and meet the others at Craigieburn, because I have geared my bike pretty low for an upcoming trip to Lesotho, and I didn't fancy screaming along at 8000rpm trying to keep up with the others.

Also i don't like going fast  :biggrin:

Anyway, waited 10 minutes or so and the bunch rocked up.

Headed past the dam and onto some awesome tracks that i know, all the way to Muden.

Nothing exciting or amazing happened on the trip, no-one broke down or crashed (well not while I was there), so I will keep the commentary to a minimum and just post some of the pics that I took  :thumleft:

...was lekker meeting you guys at Uncle Buck's.... Charl and I did the Middlerus route from Mooiriver and had a joll as well.

Have'nt seen so many bikes in Muden for a long time :laughing4:

Great ride & coolpix  :thumleft: Rocky Horror looks exactly like that.....but Mr. Cox seems ( as always ) to just glide up there  8)

Magic Jon!! Brings back some good memories. Can’t (or maybe can) believe Alfie was riding that on a 790!! Probably on the back wheel only too!!
