Hi Blazes

I have had a significant change of heart about my HP2, but about BMW mostly. Had problems with the bike in Botswana and rode a 950 while I was there - enjoyed it ALOT! Already had an 09 Husaberg, KTM build quality speaks for itself so I took the plunge. Will be selling my HP2, although I still love her!

We should go for a ride sometime - something fast and furious!

Another hijack: Just been told by one of the organisers that the Alfie Cox Dual Sport Festival will be held from 13 to 16 August this year, and that they will start advertising it on this site soon.

All I can say is that the pics dont do the ride justice.  I can only imagine that the next ride will have many more riders and that could be fun.

It takes a LOT more than that to hurt a KTM  :mwink:

Lightning: Thanks for a great ride. I enjoyed it a lot. Oh, and thanks for helping to pick up the bike after it decided it needed a lie down in the river.  ;D

I also learned that I could do with attending one of Johan's courses. That was impressive riding on a 1200GS.

Thanks lightning1 for a great day - expanded my horizons and confidence considerably.
Just for the record, I didn't fall off - my bike got tired and wanted to lie down.
Thanks to all of you who helped along the way - hope to see you again soon and get to know you all better- maybe at the De Wildt ride in two weeks.
