I too run the Mitas E07, so I was quite concered with what happened to Visarend's tyre. I spoke to KTMJedi today and apparently a small batch (about 100 units) of tyres with too soft a compound came into the country. The compound was changed without him knowing and as soon as this was discovered he tried to trace these tyres to recall them. This particular tyre slipped through the cracks, excuse the pun.
Bottom line is this is not the rule and I am relieved as I have been running E07's for quite some time without a problem. Apparently all these soft compound tyres were 17" models, so there you have it. Mitas still rank right on top for me personally.
