I quite like the Motirradical bash plates for the 1209 GS AC.
But they are a PITA to remove and replace when changing oil and filter
So I drilled a 19mm hole each side to yield access to the front mounting bolt
3/8 inch, 10mm, socket and extension makes life easier.
Some time ago I took the concept as a suggestion to MR.
