Pongoose the Mongoose told me otherwise.Oh, nonono, don't believe Dookie please, he lives in fantasy land.... hell, I've met him, he doesn't even have ****s!
You are only as old as the throttle you twist.Page one and I wish I were younger...
Bart, I believe one has to remove exhaust to change oil? Also no way to check oil level between oil services? True?
there is an oil weep hole
Mihimba style ?I also heard this but this is not true - so you'll have to 'dipstick' it.
scratch the stars of a Scope girl’s picture
And then this, to not have to undo anything but the drain bolt?
One thing about the Chinese. You ask, they listen, they do. We found the same with them with a new product the company I work for is bringing in.Yay & Nay.
Yes, to change the oil-filter you have to take off the silencer (2 bolts) and the midpipe (also 2 bolts) - really quick & easy.
To only change the oil the exhaust will stay where it is - and fwiw, the difference is 200ml of oil (1.8L with filter, 1.6L without).
Oh, also the bashplate (5 small bolts) needs to come off then but you knew that already.
And no, there's no 'standard' way to check the oillevel, and this is why the lads will give you a cabletie modded to do this with: open the fillerplug (allankey 6), dangle that cablietie in, and 'read' the level, same like a dipstick.
Yeah, I also would prefer an oil sightglass .... and Conrad is busy with this already: he's asked the factory for this, and the fun bit is that they actually listen!
