Sunday being a sunny day  ::) (in Cape Town)  I ask my eldest if she wanted to take a drive, after we washed the AT.  "Ja pappa" was the answer, and I sent her to get dressed.
She frowned and said " but I'm dressed ?" I winked and said "go look in mom's cuboard and get dressed in her bike gear "
Excited she ran of and came back with all mom's kit on. Being 9 years old, some of the stuff was bit big, but all functional.

As we were about to leave, just for a ride around the block to dry the AT a bit, mom arives back from the shops, and smiles.
We got the thumbs-up with that smile, to go do a bit of    DS'ing ;D
Only had the cell. so the pics are a but dof, but our ride was awsome ;D ;D ;D
79kms around the back roads of Drnville, and the AT needs another clean ;D ;D

Mom's now gone have to fight to get her seat back !!! 8)

I started doing this with my daughter when she was about 10.
She is now 17 and still enjoys going for a ride with dad.

Enjoy it, it's a precious thing.

;D great een  kinders is mos altyd mal daaroor om saam te ry soos my skoonsuster se kids en as hulle sien ek met die bike aankom dan wil hulle trip met die bike he so is kinders mos...

great pic

Lekker lekker, great to see the little 'uns enjoying it so much.
About that pillion seat for your wife, why not organise her a 'front seat'? ;D

The first pic was on the Old Malmesbury rd just off the Phillipi rd from Drnville towards the N7. The bridge is damaged quite extensively I presume by floods.
Front seat, you say my dear Aventurer ::) she first has to come up through the ranks on her TW200, but alas the motivation is a bit thin....  ???  and the bike stays new :-\
