So last week I made the plunge and decided to buy myself the long awaited Arai Tour-X. Pic of the model I got:
My first impressions are that it is fantastic. Last sunday went for an early morning off-road ride. Firstly the helmet does not mist up nearly as much as the Shark and AGV I have, also the helmet is the first one I have that I can actually feel the cool air flowing in on top of the helmet, this will be awesome as it gets hotter.
The peak is perfect to keep the sun out of your eyes in the early monring and late afternoons, but I will still purchase some sunglasses for use with the helmet.
Took the bike up to 180 with the helmet on and suprisingly little vibration on the peak (I expected a lot more), it also does not tug your head around too much.
The field of vision on the helmet is awesome.
All in all an awesome helmet, I will add more after the GS challenge with any updates to my findings.
