I decided to go for a ride during November. I heard of this road from a work colleague and it turned out to be a nice scenic trip.
1.The first section was corrugated but I noticed a turn off and decided to go explore even though I did not know where I would end up.
2.Leaving the tar and finally on my way.

My aim was to get to those mountains in the background.

It was eerily quiet on this stretch of road. I did not see any vehicle or person anywhere.

The road started to drop down into a valley.

This notice on a farm gate really warned everyone not to enter.

The snaking road winded past all the farms.

At this intersection the gravel changed from a reddish/brown to a white/beige colour.

A small stream was flowing after the recent rains but the water had a funny looking green colour.

Up on the next rise, I noticed Ysterberg in the distance.

A huge gate to keep unwelcome visitors out.

Some farmers really made sure the entrances to their farms were clearly visible.

When crossing the railway line I noticed the service road next to the train tracks. This will be explored soon.

No longer a farm house. Used as stables of some sort.

This was a very nice trip with varied road surfaces and the lack of vehicles and people made it quite enjoyable. I only passed one bakkie and two pedestrians during the entire trip.

Excuse the photo quality...they were taken with my cellphone
