A few weeks ago I stumbled over this forum through a older post about a Husqvarna 701 being sold.. unfortunately it was already taken..
I left and continued my search but with little luck I thought maybe I should find a local SA group and ask around to see if anyone has a Husqvarna 701
So I did! I whipped out my credit card and subbed to a forum I've never heard about and hoped I'd maybe.. some how.. find a 701 that's in good nik.
To my surprise THAT same day @Magnum piped up and said he had one.. low mileage.. and in good nik too!!
Although it was a bumpy chat at first..*my fault*.. sorry..
I chatted it out, he was super transparent with me and helped me through understanding how MFC payments work (I have no experience with it..) and I bought the bike!
After less than 24h it was at my home! Traveled all the way from JHB to DURBs
(Courier: SA Bike and Boat Transport - 064 900 8296)
The next day I booked her in for a full service at Perry Bikes in durbs.. they did a fantastic job!
(She's back now)
One thing left to do! Make her mine!
I really loved the all while look and so AGAIN I came back to the forum to ask for some shrouds and @2StrokeDan came to the rescue!
She's looking great! I couldn't be happier right now!
Why am I posting this?
