Just thaught I'd put this out there......
Myself and a few local guys plan on leaving Upington on Friday 2nd July towards Koes that is 440km away 265km tar and 175km good gravel there are alternative longer gravel roads but they are properly f-cked "gravel on the SA side"
The Rally already starts on the Friday with a 150km enduro section and the Saturday is the fun rally in the pan, gymkana , 1/4 mile and dune climbing competitions.....
The weekend is topped off with a lekker dans and braai and prize giving....
Needless to say huge amounts of happy juice will be consumed and the locals are great people there is a nice hotel with a bar
Those that has been to the Koes rally will tell you that it is one moerse lekker jol and not to be missed.
Anybody is more that welcome to join us...camping next to the hotel "grass"or on the pan is allowed and there are shops and a place to buy booze, so no need to pack to much stuff....
Braaipacks aswell as prepared food will be available at the Hotel
who is in for a lekker weekend with the Namibians?
