Thanks JR1, I am considering arranging another trip for late november, but my plans are to get a group together, I have a great contact to get bikes to namibia (as you will see later in RR) & to just do North & into Angola, although we might need to visit purgatory on way home for some cooler weather. So maybe we can get a tentative indication here if anyone keen & then I will post a thread in "planning a ride to start formalising"

Thank you Drazil, not really, when I read some of the other stuff on this site by some of the WD's like TD & Michnus & the de-mining guys, & the guys on gouch island etc - thats cast iron balls!!This pales by comparison to what those dudes do!!

Hi DD, my dad was the station commander in Rundu lightyears ago so i spend some of my childhood years there. Would be exiting to revisit the North and the Caprivi strip again.
