:hello2: DD, amazing RR, I must agree with Eis, "this is hall off fame stuff".

Shit man, now I've got this creepy feeling to watch my back.  Beware DD's beloved Feeline Adrenalin rushers :peepwall:

Hey DD

...pity you couldn't capture those kitties digitally...mind you, I have an absolutely clear picture of it the way you put it.

Wonder what the best reaction to a kitty confrontation in the wild would be, sure you must have thought about it a lot afterwards, think pepper spray would have helped, what else?

Many thanks for an excelent report, one of the best by far.

J

Love your work DD  :thumleft:

When is this ride report coming to an end? ................................cause I don't want it to stop!!!!  ;)

Great writing, both funny and honest. It's amazing how a lion's roar, particularly at night and even when you know it's quite far away, can get most humans hunting for cover. Great trip and report.

Hey J,

Not sure I would be comfortable pissing off a Lion with pepper spray, have visions of them using it as a garnashing on me. As you will see later in RR, I believe the best solution is to stay far far away from them IMHO, coz if they decide your dinner I really dont believe you have much of a chance.
Thanks for positive feedback  :)

Great reading your adventure, as my mate an I just returned from NAM last week, we travelled nearly the same route but my mate came off badly after Solitaire and broke his wrist and 2 ribs. We had to abort the trip, I'll have to upload it soon for all to see and read as well.

Hey D D not sure what you do for a living 'cause your report and phptography here clearly indicates that you should be writing books on adventure travel.  How did the cleanliness of the country grab you? Tx. for sharing your trip with us. But Shuuuu don't tell everybody.

FYI - Craig got hurt in a climbing accident in Mauritius (the week after his last report). He was OK initially but by the evening in question started with some paralysis in his legs (from what I understand). I heard from him last weekend - gave me no details, but says he was recovering well once they got him in SA and on the right treatment. Says he will be 100%.

Im sure we will hear from him soon. TM...
