This might just be the "kick in the ass" inspiration SWAMBO and I need to plan our trip to the US of A  :ricky:

A few teasers from Colorado.

Bedtime for me WD's, stay tuned, Blog 1 of the trip coming soon.

Love the audio excerpt in the Ghost Rider link you posted above....

A clear index of your own predilection for dealing with the demons...

And many of us here ride along with you in resonance - our own tacit complicity with our demons fueling our empathic tank.

Hell's Bell's, I do love your writing style and the ease with which you tell your stories. I have to concur with Dwerg that riding the USA is a absolute burning passion for me, if my stars align it will be in 2021, not to keen on the cold weather though!

Such a few pictures that already says such a lot! Love it! Welcome (back) and thanks for taking us along on the ride! :ricky:

Lovely words Shakespeare, that was heartwarming to read.  Thank you.  :eek:ccasion14:

I'm debating just how much I'm going to share with you dogs about my personal demons in this RR.  Part of me wants to pour my heart out in this report, no holds barred, no stone left unturned.  Part of me just wants to keep it lite and airy.  Why?  I know I'm not alone in what I deal with everyday of my life, especially as an American male.  Actually, no, I'm wrong, I shouldn't say as an American male.  Regardless of where we Wilddogs call home on this big rock, I believe we all live with the debilitating and endless emotions and or instincts that we MUST provide for, be patient with, and protect our loved ones, at all costs, regardless of consequences, all while being stoic, because if we start to complain or show any sadness, well, here anyway, you'll be labeled weak, a *****, crybaby, best friends will kick you while you're down to make you tougher.  Those are the kind of friends I need less of.  I do have friends I can be vulnerable with and they only encourage and help.  I do the same for them.

Talking about our demons and mental illness is still extremely taboo in our country.  Well, I'm done living my life with pent up rage and issues.  :peepwall: Life is survival dealing with the Human Condition we see everyday.  If I decide to tell all, it will be because it is such a liberating experience and I hope others suffering issues will find it easier to discuss their issues with friends and loved ones because if that ******* big oil can do it, so can I.  :3some:

ACDC  :headbang:

Thank you for your compliments.

Every kind of riding one could imagine in this enormous country and Canada.

When you come over, my personal rule of thumb is to avoid the southern half of the US June through August, even though I didn't do that on this trip  :imaposer: always ride the northern half and Canada June through September, maybe in to mid-October for the fall colors, to be safe from ice and or snow.  This doesn't always hold true, one can experience ice and snow in late May, early June in the Northern states and Canada.

share whatever you're comfortable with, demons are nasty things to live with on your own and you are not the only one  :thumleft:

Enjoying your thread and humour so far - GOOI!

PS: I do own a 2015 1290 (LOVE it!) and have had bikes all my life, just not big on writing ride reports - call me a lazy fuck  ;)

People usually look at me a little strange when I say USA is my #1 dream biking destination

My wife says I have no ambition when I tell her I want to ride the USA - we quietly (maybe not so much quietly) agree to disagree - she can stay at home....

Bring it on, I say!!

:thumleft:

Time for a new wife?  :peepwall:  Come on over, maybe you'll find a side piece while here  >:D  Kidding!!  I do not condone adultery.

Nothing starts a fire in an American girls panties faster than a ZA  accent.  :xxbah:  I'd encourage you DO NOT tell the wife of this, she'll never let you come over!

ain't that the truth  :lol8:

but I heard on the radio the other day that the Aussies are taking over from us now. maybe it's something to do with their propensity for sheep  :peepwall:  :imaposer:

You can put up as many pics as you like.

Seeing mountains like that just reminds me how flat it is in Florida. I looked it up the other day and Florida IS the flattest state. Highest point is something like 300ft ASL. If I wanna get high here I drive over a causeway. Get up to 50 feet  :spitcoffee:

That teaser pic of the petrified log reminds me of Namibia. I saw them there somewhere. Too long ago to remember.

impimpi = snitch  :thumleft:
