Well, almost like the Range Rover I owned, my recently acquired 990 is spending more time in the shop than at home where it's supposed to be.
I discovered a minor oil leak from the RH front shock, just after I bought it and it seems that the axle clamp has a hairline crack in it, allowing oil to seep out whenever the shock is compressed, repeatedly. The question is whether the crack happened with the previous owner and him choosing not to disclose it, or at the shop who fitted the new tyres, I don't know and I don't care. I can just imagine the circus this would turn into, should I decide to try and find out the truth.
Anyhow, the axle clamp is not sold separately, so if anyone could help me out, preferable with the bottom leg of a RH 990 Adventure shock, or even a complete RH shock, please contact me: vodacom 33 77 5 77
