So took the Strom for its first real run today.
On the toll-way i waited for a bit of an opening and then opened the throttle to see what is what. The Strom picked up speed nicely until i chickened out at 140, turned off the tap and returned to 100km/h.
The wind noise and buffeting at speed was so bad that the bike actually felt unstable and unsafe. For me it felt as if someone was shaking me by the head and shoulders. First time i experienced such bad buffeting on a bike.
A real pity, because the motor felt smooth and powerful with a promise of much more to come.
So, i have a serious case of buffetting to solve. Think i will start with the Madstad bracked and then work my way up from there by perhaps adding a Givi touring screen as well.
