Is it normal?

Am I not shifting "positively" enough?

I commute almost daily, and have it happen to me about once a month. And now a new variation is appearing. Shortly after shifting (as in about 3 seconds after shifting) it was as if the gears disengaged and then (without any action from me) re-engaged. Weird.

Any comments/suggestions?
