Morning All. Guy here, 65, riding since 1987 - first bike Yamaha xs650 (still have it). Current bikes BMW 1200GSA (2009) and BMW F650GS Dakar. After 40 yrs of survival training in Joburg, we're heading for the bright lights of Oudtshoorn, looking for long roads and big skies. Minimal experience on dirt - (in fact I'm terrible on dirt - tried it twice and it didn't end well) - hoping to ride (slowly!!) some of the passes down that way.
Going to need to find a a fair and reliable workshop in the Oudshoorn/George area, been using Bling King and Bike Man in Jhb ( thanks Denver and Steve..)
Not great at this social media bit , but hope to learn a lot.
