New on scene ****** What bike do I start with

Hi guys,

I want to get into this kind of biking and go on weekend trips in the veld and so on.
I don't know the do's and don'ts about this.  I don't want to rough and tumble or travel to Tanzanie or across Africa just yet.
I just want to stay on fair gravel roads.
The bikes i am looking at are pre-owned
* BMW 650GS / Dakar
* Honda 650/700 Trans Alp
* KLR 650
