I just did this ride after work today. Takes about an hour to 90 minutes depending on how long to get out of town and how often you stop. Its quite a good gravel road some badly rutted sections due to rain. Many variations are possible due to the network of roads. Combination of low traffic tar and gravel. I left home at 1730 and was home at 1900. Most of it you can do in 3rd or 4th, with 2nd or 3rd in the ruts. Quite easy and peaceful.
