More nice things for your KLR:

Top quality Spiegler stainless steel braided brake lines with anodized aluminium fittings.
They have a number of advantages over cheaper ones:

Durable clear protective shrinkfit over the full length.
Self securing screw on fittings allow easy fitment of the rubber mounting clamp hardware of the original line.
Rotating fittings for easy and torsion free fitment.
Slimline corrosion free fittings.

As opposed to the standard rubber lines they have the followeing advantages:
Unlimited lifetime (OEM four years!)
No elasticity = hard, well defined pressure point = brake feels less squashy = added safety.
Changing to steel braided hoses often also reduces or eliminates squeaking noises.
The brake lines are US DOT FMVSS 106 and TÃ??V approved.

Please note that this modification does not make the KLR's lousy front brake any better
BUT IT MAKES IT FEEL A LOT BETTER!

Price is R 800 for a KLR front brake hose and I have stock.
Other models (any manufacturer, front and rear, twin caliper front...) on order.
