So we all gathered at 8am at Engen and from there we left for Old Mill Drift. Was faily cold, in the shade on our way to Old Mill it reached -4degrees
We did 4 illegal river crossings in and out of Lesotho just to warm the guys up. From there we started the climb op the mountain. It went relatively smooth, some bikes were put down on there sides, unintentionally :biggrin: though.
A few off the riders had to work hard but everybody reached the top and from there it was downhill back to Clarens.
We refueled and started the second route towards Monantsa borderpost. Gehard forgot his passport and we had to use a bit of initiative to get him thru. From there it was plain sailing all along the border. We did another 3 or so illegal river crossings ( just to make things interesting )
We crossed back into SA at Caledonspoort and we were all back in Clarens at 5pm.
What a great day with a group off great guys. :thumleft:
