Old R1200GS vs New R1200GS

I wanted to find out if there is anyone out there that prefers the air-cooled R1200GS to the new water-cooled one ...
I've got to admit the water-cooled GS looks fantastic, has incredible performance and throttle response, fantastic gadgets like the LED headlight and riding modes but seems to have lost some of the character of the air-cooled model.

I'm currently looking at getting a new bike - would I be stupid to buy a virtually new air-cooled Triple Black or should I buy the new model  ???

I'm so confused ... Think the Triple Black is the best looking GS out there!
