Yesterday I got home late. I take my Orange cover of for after dark riding as I find I see better without it. This morning I forgot to put it back.
It was very quickly clear that most cars don't see me as readily as they did when I had the Orange headlight. Twice cars changed lane in front of me where normally they would stop indicating and back of making it clear they had seen me. At one intersection a car clearly didn't see me. Thankfully based on the behaviour of the cars earlier on my ride I was super awake this morning and did not have to apply any emergency procedures but I found it amazing at the difference the cover made.
Now to get a noisy slip on and some GS style spots and I should be a whole lot safer on the road >
