After 23 years of offroad, enduro and a half hearted 5 year attempt at racing
ot:, decided to make the jump to adventure/touring. Got a 660z Tenere with a proper exhaust system that helps with the torque to carry some weight, crash bars and 1 top box. 1st long trip will be down to the Roof then riding all over ending up on the KZN coast for 5 days for Christmas.
Can I have tips on the following from guys that has been doing this for some time;
1. Spares and Tools - What to take and what not to take.
2. Extras to fit, already fitting the electric lighter to charge cell phones and GPS
3. Plain basic and trusted do's and do not's. I am doing this trip all by my lonesome and meeting up with the wife after 2 weeks
4. Riding Gear, I pretty much have everything the market has to offer for offroad but maybe some insight into specific products which was found helping a lot.
