Overberg ride

Having been inspired by the recent short ride report by @dual , I took a ride through a small section of the Overberg. It is a stunning area and well worth it.

Being in the Deep South, it takes me a while to get to the nice roads, but at lease the views make up for it.

The Hemel en Aarde Valley is stunning with Proteas in full bloom and incredible views.

At Caledon, I gooi-ed a lefty onto a dirt road which unfortunately became smaller and smaller and eventually ended up in a wheat field. I guess its time to update my GPS map to the latest version.

The pies at Houwhoek pass farm stall are not to be missed. What a nice area and a privilege

to get out there.

My absolute respect!
I can imagine how beautiful it was when looking at your photographs. Tastes differ, I know, but I get the impression, that you see things in a similar way as I do. I really like "composition" of some of the photographs, not trying to be spectacular, not having obvious colour workshopping done, just cutting out that piece of the landscape, which holds the key to the general beauty.

I am no expert at all, in fact battle with the whole digital bling, so I am courious to read which camera , lens and sort of settings you used. If There are any cosmetics applied, I will not be able to use the advice.

That first Fodie of the Fishing Vessel is special, I am a Bosveld Person by Nature but that awakens something in me.
