Quite a ride today and I am pooped so herewith a couple of pics, I'm sure the other guys have some stories to tell and pics to share.
Ox's KatieM was there in all it's orange glory, what a kickass bike.
These pics were all taken after entering the riverbed, the first part is pretty wide and building up speed is not a problem once you get going. Problaly the easiest part of the ride ?
A Husky and a Zook.
Redrider winding the big XR up through the riverbed.
Funacide about to exit the first 13km stretch of thick sand. Respect for taking that big KTM all the way through !
Regardt's CRF 450, what a beast 8)
RR navigating some technical stuff, notice how the side river gets narrower and more brush appears ready to give you a good klap when you stray off course.
"Where'd they go ?" HHHusky
One tough little climb out of the small riverbed, it became more rutted as each bike spun it's way to the top.
HHHusky had the perfect line all figured out ...
.... only to end up doing a crazy zig zag escape routine thanks to one pesky rock
Proud of myself here the Zook just launched out of there, no sweat
A great days riding indeed, met a couple of new faces and had a blast !
