i have decided to pimp my ride with some boxes.
R8k for touratech boxes is too rich for my blood (i need the money for beer). and the TT boxes stick out too far IMHO.
some guys in the states have stuck pelican 1550 (52x43x22cm too big) boxes on the gs and it does compliment the ugliness.
i can get 1450 (41x33x18cm too small?) boxes for R1200 or 1500 (47x39x18cm just right?) for R1400 from CAS camera's in randburg, now i need to make up some brackets or buy TT ones. i am debating wether to make a cradle type thing so that i don't have to drill the cases. or i can drill the cases and put BIG washers in to stop tearing.
anybody got tips or suggestions? alternative boxes?
