Long weekend, circa 2k km round route to the Oostfin 'Sethythuthu' bash at Fouriesburg - a bit of everything stretching the Italian side chicks legs a bit She did not disappoint or miss a beat while soaking up the natural habitat. Yebo - they will fit the offroad package (think its crash bars, hand guards, bash plate). Crash bars and bash plate will be black

So, how are the crash bars? Vibey at just under 4000rpm? I've contacted the dealer a few times to mention this but only response I pretty much got was that its normal and it is what it is...live with it.

I replaced them with Rockfox bars (which is not compatible with the enduro skid plate btw) and vibes are completely gone. Almost feels like a different bike now. Bear in mind I had the enduro bars on from new so it was my only point of reference.

So, I contacted Ducati head office through the app and low and behold they phoned me from Italy a week later. A very sweet and sexy sounding Italian lady . She said they are well aware of the vibes and will be issuing a bulletin to dealers on a fix before the end of the year. Could not tell me what the fix involves though. For now, the enduro bars and skid plate is in a box in the garage.

3 years after leaving SA, I finally ride again. Took me a while to redo my bike license here in Stockholm. It is not an easy thing to do in this part of the world.

We have some early spring weather and so I managed to do some riding yesterday exploring the Stockholm Archipelago on my new bike.

Been there done that a good few years ago on a 1150GS, loved that area. Good to see you have the rally seat - found it made a significant improvement to my comfort from the two piece standard one. Enjoy!
