Bandit will make whatever you ask for, they have a DDX template. And of course they'll fit it for you.

I honestly do......
But reality is I'm 340km from nearest dealer, it could never withstand the abuse my 990 S takes in the bush and it cannot compete with my 890 Rally (nothing on the market can really ).
So unless my Powerball nrs hit the mark at some point, I'm "stuck" with what I have........

Got the OEM ones with the bike. Emailed Rockfox some time ago to find out whether their crash bars work with OEM optional bash plate but never got a response. From the photos on their website it doesn't look like it will....

Sorry you are not getting a better response from Rockfox; will chat to him.
We can CONFIRM Rockfox Crash Bars DO fit with OEM bash plate, since we have fitted a few sets...
Shout if we can assist - we have stock, etc.

Sorry but WTF?! Some real kak there - Stars and Stripes on an iconic Italian bike, shark attacks, camo etc. Best the Yanks stick to HD's.

O-N-L-Y for those wanting to put Pannier Racks on a Desert X; we have a slight overstock, despite having sold a few, so less 10% on pannier racks - Rockfox brand, purchased from us.

DISCLAIMER: not everyone wants pannier racks on an Italian Beauty - I GET that; this just for those looking for pannier racks!

a different tubular rear rack manufacturer has not yet made a rear rack for the Desert X - will remind him - again...!

Also, supposedly VW will be officially taking over Ducati SA from December. Maybe they'll open more dealerships.
