ponta Do Oura -Worth taking a bike or not?

I am leaving for 10 days at Ponta tomorrow, diving Holliday, but I have never been that far down South in Moz, was wondering it it is worth taking a bike or not?
thinking of taking the WR, but I am not so sure what riding can be done there ?
I know it will be shit hot and sandy. Anyone taken a bike out that way lately?
Places to go see etc.

Also need to sleep over somewhere close to the border tomorrow, any suggestions?
