I've always done all my own work including thorough and regular servicing, but being an 'old fashioned' mechanic I know nothing about electronic fuel injection, so all I've ever done to the fuel system is to replace the filter. Now the bike is getting a bit lumpy at low speeds and requires a few more revs than usual to pull away. I've been thinking that if I let the injectors soak for a while in some cleaning fluid, and then possibly try injecting some fluid through them with a syringe this might do the trick.
Is this likely to work, or will it do more harm than good? Any advice appreciated.
