My GSA is going in for it's 10k km service soon. I'm worried that my FD is screwed. I've heard the rumours that some are made of cheese......
- There is a whine related to road speed, not engine speed - on tar. Now this could be tyre whine (Michelain Anarkee II)
- There is a bit of a grinding when applying the rear brake. Can't see any disk wear/gouging. Might just take the rear pads off to check they are OK before the service
Am I paranoid, or could my FD be made of cheese ??
What symptoms should I expect to see when the FD lets go?
