I belong to the Cape Land Rover club, and we have quarterly points events (skills challenges)
The amount of improvement to the participants is enormous.
Would it be worth my while to try and set something up like this for the WC dogs? And maybe have this duplicated in the other areas?
The main purpose would be rider training. Therefore the terrain would be easy to ride in, with no serious chances of dropping bikes or riders. Typically terrain and scenarios that you would encounter on out rides. But there would be cones, tape, feet down and flags to be avoided if you want to score well. :mwink:
It probably would not be as intense as the skills challenges at the bigger events.
So, easy to ride through, but not so easy to ride in. Slight difference there.
There would be scoring, but no prizes, only experience gained.
