Well, house build done and dusted and time to replace her bike. This little mishap was R73k worth of damage as the whole instrument substructure broke and the front rim bent.

After riding a GS800, GSA800 and a GS1200, she said we must buy a GS800. But....... Now she wants a GS1200 bacause of the shaft drive and the "balance" she experienced her boxer bike to have.
We are in late 50's; she rides my bike without a glitch, yet cannot get it off the side stand.
She had done road riding courses, BMW's off road and intermediate courses (twice) and BMW's sand riding course. I think she can ride. Oh, she is 1.82m tall.
My feeling is the GS800 is still better suited for her
Thoughts?
Oh, in her world there are only BMW bikes, no use suggesting anything else. I tried that already.
