Hey all,
We used a Honda XL500L on the farm for more than 20 years now. Appart from me learning to ride on a xl185, this was the bike that I pretty much did my first few years of biking on.
This bike is a legend on our farm.
My farther got himself a 2012 Honda 230 in its place, and wants to sell the 500 now. I took it and brought it with me, saying that I'll organise the sale for him ( easier to do it from the city than from the farm ).
On second thought... we can't sell this bike. It feels like part of the farm, and going to the farm will not be the same with this bike not being there.
I have been looking for a restoration project, and i think this is it. Now is the question, is R 8,000.00 to much for this bike, as this is what my farther want's for the bike.
Please give me your thoughts and views.
