I discovered that one of the spokes on my rear wheel is missing...pretty sure it was there when I last checked (looooooong ago).
So I phoned up the local agents (Helderberg Yamaha) and spoke to the friendly lady that does the bookings for servicing.
It turns out I need to buy a "spoke kit" for about R1200-00, in order to replace the one spoke.
Yawellnofine and all, but this is all the spokes in the wheel, in a kit.
She tunes me that...the service centre is supposed to check spokes upon servicing, and it is negligent of them not to.
I follow with...uhhhmmm.... you serviced it 8k kms ago. Silence on the other end of the line after this.
All comes down to..... does anyone maybe have a spare spoke (from his spoke kit) for sale. I am willing to pay 1/4 of the kit's price, out of principle.
