The Sani is the Sani is the Sani. I cannot add to its splendor. So no video or pic coverage. On Wednesday morning, 29th I entered through the RSA side with pretty gale force wind. Grim advised on the first water crossing and it helped much. Thanx Grim. However I found the second water crossing gnarly. But, choosing lines was not easy for me. The wind was deciding my line of travel all the way up and down. I quickly learned Grim's advice on using engine braking whilst applying rear brake. Together, the tendency of the rear wheel to slide out on 'lock-up' was neutralized. I easily managed straight, rear lock-up sliding. All should practice this... unless I am just an overexcited noobie. In summary my up & down trip was in the words of Bob Dylan, 'the answer my friend is blowing in the wind'. Spiritually the Sani Pass gave me a personalised experience. My trip back via Lower Lotheni was good.
