Hey adventurers
Planning a ride starting on about the 17th of December from JHB and ending just in time for a new years bash in Cape Town. Planning to travel back to Jozies on a train in the new year!!
Going to "wing it" a bit so not really keen on too much detail but we have a plan on which areas/towns to be in on specific nights along the trip. Also trying to visit some of the Dick King route memorials to gain some historic value from the journey.
We will kick off in Clarens to enter Lesotho from the North and then exit via Sani Pass. The plan is to spend a few days exploring the Wild Coast and maybe route via the Hogs Back en route to the Garden route via Baviaanskloof.
So far just myself and the wife on the 990!
Survived a trip through Botswana and Zim and now keen on exploring our own back yard.
Anyone tried this before? Any good advice?
