Fellow dogs, I had a strange case where my xt would battle to start and eventually draining the battery. Wel so it seemed. Got a new battery, problem stil persisted where the engine will battle to turn over. Long story short, I pulled the starter motor and give it a good clean inside especially the brushes. Took fine sanding paper and cleaned the actuator where the brushes runs on. Slapped the motor back, and she starts instantly, no strain on the battery. What a difference!!!
