Side stand woes

Anybody got a permanent fix for a sagging sidestand , my rt is about to either fall over or the stand is going to break . Got a bush kit from BMW but it only lasted for a couple of months . Not too keen on taking a wooden block because there's so much play on the stand that it might topple over to the other side before it cleared the block  ???
