Hi
Father in law is wondering/considering sidecar options. He is not young anymore and doesn't have motorcycling experience, but has a good affinity to vehicles (driving, flying, cycling) and hence should pick up rather quickly. The sidecar appeals due to perceived stability and the fact that he will not be able to pick up a big bike if it does go down. Also not the tallest so even general manageability could be a challenge. Sidecar is possibly also easier to carry passengers & luggage, isn't it?
I think it is about getting out into nature since he doesn't fly anymore. Speed and rough stuff is not the aim.
Is a big GS with a sidecar something that could be recommended to a beginner? And what other options are there?
Advise will be much appreciated.
