Wish my wife could do this  :biggrin:
I initially got the idea off the Adventure Rider Site, see the white bike below, they tucked the number plate right under the brake light. And then this weekend, I picked up the grinder and just went for it. With my pannier bar at the back I went one step further and totally removed the plastics, connected the Nr plate directly to the bar.
Very happy with the finished product!
