So someone was breaking an 1150 a while back and I bought the throttle cables unseen at a very reasonable price, so they arrived Postnet to Postnet wrapped in bubble wrap and I dutifully put them in the cupboard until I got the time/inclination to do the swap. Anyway on Sunday I strip the beast to change the throttle cables and I see a lot of the cabling sheathing is rotten on the main loom (been going for a while) so I start digging some more, at this stage I had not stripped the throttle cables yet....
Anyway then I braaied then I dug the new cables out and open the bubble wrap and what do I find, all 4 cables the Bowden splitter box and the connector to the throttle and all look brand new, this bloody forum, thanks to whoever sold them to me... 8) :thumleft: :thumleft:
