sold my 800 GS last week to put some funds into my business
Am planning on buying a more affordable 1100 GS (or maybe an 1150 GS) in the Pretoria area (I live in the Cape)
It seems most of the country's 1100GS's live in Pretoria/!!!
Is there a WD that would check the bike out for me, and carefully test-ride it?
esp. rear wheel bearing check, front para-lever bearing check, idling smoothness, final drive leak, etc.
(please do advise me any other checks I should perform?)
1999 1100 GS, with 80,000km on the clock. Resprayed black (cosmetic, not stuctural).
Mostly used for commuting last 4 or 5 years, 10,000km/per year.
Have called for service history from Bavarian m/cycles; will get it later today...
New clutch and seals done at 60,000km (Baviarian)
Price: R39,950. non neg, which fits my budget.
I would prefer an 1150 over an 1100, but then budget...
here's hoping, thanks
Chris
