Spark plug socket - WTF

I'm trying to replace my lower plugs on my 1150 GSA however none of the 3 sockets I have actually fit into the hole the the guys in white coats at BMW designed. I'm using actual spark plug sockets yet they don't fit. They just don't make it in enough to grab onto the plug to unscrew it. What do you guys use to take them out?
