So after not being on the bike for a couple of months after an accident I finally got back on the bike this week.
For some reason the bike is really struggling to start in the mornings and afternoons, cold starts, even though I had the valve clearances checked and adjusted.
I have to turn the motor over and then turn the ignition off and on again a couple of times before it fires up. Normally there'll be a couple of half fires whilst doing this.
Once the bike starts it runs like a champ.
Could there be any reason other than the valve clearances that could cause this?
PS. If you haven't checked your subframe in a while have a look to make sure it's not cracked. Mine was so i had it welded and gussets put in for strength.
