We all met at N1 City McDonalds which before the time seemed to be the perfect place, but on that night His People Ministries held a concert which drew so many people that the whole parking area was blocked.
So we took over the paving in front of McDonalds front door.
We left at exactly 6:30pm +-15 bikes in total, mostly with pillions.
Made our way along the N1 without much traffic but lots of wind.
We then filtered through a bit of traffic and roads works till turning onto the N2 and then off again onto the M3.
Through Bishops Court we had to filter through bumper to bumper traffic at the traffic lights section but once we got passed all the traffic lights it was free flowing all the way.
We hit Oukaapseweg and opened the throttles just a bit to shake off the fumes of the traffic.
Just before the U-bend into Sun Valley we pulled to the side of the roads to witness an awesome sunset over a flat ocean.
From there it was on to Misty Cliffs (man that place is cold in the evening) :eek7: then over Red Hill where we stopped to look down on a lit up Simon's Town bay (really beautiful) :thumleft:
Then a short fun sprint down Red Hill (in the dark makes it much more fun) :ricky: to Dixies, where we met another 2 or 3 bikes that came from Sommerset west.
We had a great time in each other company while witnessing the most amazing full moon rise over the Heidelberg Mountains
