Abu , I was on the pan just after 1pm , pitched my tent , packed a beer and a camp chair and headed out on the pan . I spent about 2 hours there , just to take it all in . Your RR from last year had a lot to do with this . It's just a magical place to be , all there by yourself .  Just before 4 pm Brinkie came screaming down the pan towards me on his KTM . His first words , " Oom waar gaan die ouens dice ?" I think its a good thing he pitched up , because I started hallucinating  , mirrors on the pan , an oke on a 990  doing massive powerslides in 4th and 5th gear and the worst one of them all , everyone chasing Harry Potter down the pan .

Hi Hings As Abu posted we got in about 5 Thanks very very much for all your hard work effort planing and general running around Also big thanks to your helpers/ team All made for a very memorable w end and 6 days of glorious riding including me buying pieces of farms once again.

Lekker to meet you Simon Glad had opportunity to have a small chat to you on Friday eve. Hope you heal quickly without too much pain and back in saddle shortly. Was least i could do Hope sling helped. Strongs boet and take it slower next time.

Lacerated liver
Broken left thumb
Broken right pinkie
Broken right arm
Two broken toes
And some more broken ribs
Hooked up on a lekker Tramadol line, a Stillnox down so looking forward to some sleep !

Ek het darem geweet daar sal weer 'n wit-ding voorhardloop, dankie boere, dink ons moenie volgende jaar gaan met die 1190's en nuwe 1200's nie, die meelgesig het 211 (gps) op die pan gedoen verlede jaar, daai kors hou hom maar vas, enige speedo's van die jaar ouens??

Jong Weskus daai Parratjie van my sal tot 'n dice optel met 'n ou in 'n rolstoel O0

Volgens hom is sy top op sy Oranje nartjie so 232km op teer en ek het hom gevra om as hy weer gaan kuier by Patat op Piketberg moet hy die GPS saamvat.

Sy fiets is heelwat viniger as my witte, maar as Parratjie opklim op die witte kak almal nogsteeds. Daai nuwe 1200 BMW kom vang hom eers op 195 km op die pan.

Maar ja ek was verbaas om te sien hoe vergelyk ons Katoempies teen die ander fietse wat 200cc meer het. > >

O ja! Ek het die trip van Brakkie se plek baie geniet in Verneukpan toe. Het kwaai gestres oor die saterdag se groepry vooraf. Op n trip van 3400km waar ek vry was om te ry soos ek wil was ek nie lus  vir n statige prossessie onder n groot stofwolk teen 80 - 100 km/h verneukpan toe nie.
Wat n plesier het die ride toe uitgedraai. Almal het gery  soos hulle wil en het ek alleen gery teen my eie spoed in skoon lug. Vry soos n voeltjie oor die vlaktes,te lekker.
Was net great om my XT te laat hol soos hy wil  :ricky:

Good morning all.....

Just got home this am, great to be home!
Had an op yesterday but sadly will have to go in for a second op in several weeks time.
Quite tough typing with one finger, I have both arms in casts  :-\
Yip interesting times going to the toilet!

I hope all the fellow Verneukpan Stunt Team are mending well!
