My en my bike se vermoens was tot die uiterste toe beproef - veral die laaste 120 km na die pan toe was n afk@k.
Sondagoggend terug het ons gelukkig n ander roete (korter en makliker) gery.
Ek het darem een top end run op die pan gedoen (op en af) - en dit was kwaai. My spoed is n geheim.
Katana  kon jy al jou hare plat kry?

Ek moes twee keer goed was, maar dit le nou   :thumleft:

Dankie Katana en Rynet vir die laaste deel op die teer. Ongelukkig het dit geeindig met die ou baby wat op niewoudtville staan, maar ook net vir 'n nag. Ons het hom weer gister gaan vind met 'n pap voorwiel en al. Gelukkig is alles nou by die huis en sal gou weer in shape kom met 'n bietjie liefde.

I have reason to believe it was the LC GS. Those photo's where it's running behind is the early stages where the slick tyres haven't started gripping lekker. The later stages of the drags it runs away in front quite quickly.

As for the speed - I don't know. You'll have to ask Phil for his top speed with it.

Ja was jammer oor die KLR se issues maar was ten minste relatief naby julle dorp en gelukkig het jou pa sy trusty GS1200 daar gehad om jou huis toe te lift  .

Leaving town , left home at just after 6am and we only arrived on the farm after 8 pm , A very long day's riding . And it was COLD in the morning through Ceres , bbrrrrrr.

At Brakkies Farm , sorry if I cant remember everyone's names. What a lovely place and lekker hosts and food. Lekker socialising with old and new friends . Oh , and the last 10 km's on tweespoor sand in the pitch dark was exciting .  :ricky:

Brandvlei , refuel and eat , only got Ball and Chain and friend

. From Brandvlei Katana and I rode with the Ural which was good as we took it slow , but boy can these two guys ride . I rode in the sidecar for a while and it was interesting hitting the first sand patches .  :imaposer: the bike veers more to one side so the way to ride corners is to sort of use up the whole road and sort of slide sideways  :imaposer:

I still asked DikKroba if he could ride a bike ,and the next minute he came past at 170 km / hr  on my KLR  :imaposer:

Ek is bly jy is veilig by die huis Ouman, ek het so 12:36 hier in getrek. 'n Warm stort was nog nooit so lekker nie. Dankie vir die oppas van die pan af.  :thumleft:
