This is probably one of those questions getting asked frequently. Personally I appreciate the members of this forum for not waiting for the slightest opportunity to point the asker to the search facility with an attitude of "don't bore the rest of us with your newbie question" (Anybody hangs around on some of the "mine-is-better-than-yours 4x4 fora?) Back to the question:
A friend rides a 650GS (not Dakar). Over the weekend at the overnight stop (lekker in the Bushveld nogal), I saw that the preload on the rear suspension was completely turned out - on its minimum setting. I asked and he said he allways turns it out when going on gravel roads. That's for two up with weekend luggage. What is best to do?
